Chinese New Year System Update and Events
As the festive season approaches, we've been hard at work on a new version, and here's a sneak peek for everyone.
Main updates include:
- Launching Chapter 4 Hard Mode
- New character Abyss Walker Marian
- Graffiti House
- New Year Tower Challenge
Introducing the new character, Abyss Walker Marian, with her striking red hair—does it remind you of something?
Abyss Walker Marian's key feature is her ability to switch between crossbow and scythe weapon forms.
Each form has different skill ranges and effects, making her a highly adaptable character.
Chapter 4 Hard Mode is now open, unraveling more mysteries of the Inner Core.
As Gaia's domain, the storyline of Chapter 4 Hard is naturally closely related to it. Here's a little spoiler: it will reveal the mysterious origins of a certain Hunter. Guess who?
Of course, besides Gaia, one or two mysterious enemies will also appear! (That's all the spoilers for now!)
Every piece of Gear in the game has a unique appearance but is still subject to certain Attribute restrictions.
The Graffiti system is designed to break these constraints.
In the Graffiti House, using graffiti can transform the appearance of Gear, allowing for free character styling. For instance, wielding a prismatic gun to unleash a full-screen lightning skill of a wilderness gun is quite interesting.
Besides changing appearances, graffiti also provides additional attributes, which enhance as the graffiti level increases.
This Chinese New Year's challenge will take on the "Lion Dance Tower," where each level offers a choice of different enemies.
The "Lion Dance Tower" is a brand-new system incorporating some RougeLike gameplay.
You can skip classes, choosing weaker Monster branches to fight,
or seek challenges by choosing enemies that counter your own,
the higher you go, the stronger the enemies and, naturally, the richer the rewards.
The New Year challenge event will run from January 24 to February 7, during which you can challenge Abyss Walker Marian and the Nian Beast in the "Lion Dance Tower" to win rewards such as the [Auspicious Trinket] and [Auspicious Set].
The event is divided into two phases, each lasting one week:
[First Week] Challenge the powerful Nian Beast to obtain the [Auspicious Trinket]
[Second Week] Challenge Abyss Walker Marian to obtain the [Auspicious Set]
The Auspicious Trinket is a dual-attribute Trinket that facilitates more versatile team compositions, helping to break through current team strategies, such as refreshing the Arena's time record.
The Auspicious Set is an exclusive Set for Abyss Walker Marian, which not only has a unique appearance but also significantly alters some of Marian's operations and strategies with its attributes and weapon skills.

Brand new system: Equipment Wishlist is here!
We can obtain most of the Gear from the Super Chest, but its wide range also introduces a lot of uncertainty.
In the new Gear system, the way to enhance Set Proficiency is by acquiring gear from the same Set. If it becomes easier to obtain the desired Gear, the speed of increasing Proficiency levels will also significantly increase.
The main function of the Wishlist is to help everyone more easily obtain the desired 5-star Gear:
1. Only the Super Chest can set a Wishlist;
2. Select the Gear you hope to acquire;
3. As long as a 5-star orange Gear is obtained from the Super Chest, it will definitely be from the items listed in the Wishlist;
Through the Wishlist, Proficiency enhancement will be accelerated, and you'll obtain customization options for your weapons faster. Let's see how it works in detail.
Enter Wishlist
The entrance to the Wishlist is next to the Super Chest; click it to set up your Wishlist.
Set up Wishlist
In the Wishlist, you can configure 3 Characters and their respective 2 Sets of Gear.
After clicking the button, you can select the Character and Gear.
You can see all the Characters that have been added to your team, click on a Character's portrait to select the Character:
Click on the highlighted portrait again to start selecting the Set you hope to acquire.
If you have already obtained Special Training Gear or Urgent Mission Gear, you can also add them to your Wishlist.
Once confirmed, the setup is complete.
Subsequently, when opening the Super Chest, the obtained 5-star orange Gear will definitely be one of these six Sets.
And while obtaining Gear, it will also automatically convert to enhance the Gear's Proficiency and level:

Gear System Overhaul: Free Switching, Automatic Conversion, Attribute Locking
We have consistently received feedback about the inconvenience of managing the Backpack and weapon Enhance operations, including:
1. High pairing costs, if you want to switch Affixes or skills, you need to Upgrade a new weapon;
2. Enhance operations are too cumbersome, the Backpack often gets full, requiring manual clearing;
3. Unable to preserve desired entries during Reforge;
Therefore, without affecting existing Gear, we've modified the gear system by reducing cumbersome operations and adding automation, allowing everyone to better focus on other aspects of the game.
Free Choice of Weapon Branches
In the optimized system, you can freely switch a weapon's skills and branch Attributes in the weapon interface without needing to Upgrade another weapon for a different skill effect.
And directly switch branch Attributes without searching for Gear in the Backpack, making skill pairing more intuitive and convenient.
Automatically Convert Gear into Proficiency
Whether it's Gear obtained from battle victories or opening Chests, it will automatically be converted into Proficiency for the Gear's Set.
No need to deal with a large amount of Gear, this will save time organizing the Backpack and selecting Gear for Upgrade!
When Proficiency accumulates to a certain level, it can Upgrade the Set, unlocking new weapon branches, making it easier to experience all the Attributes of that weapon.
Since there's no need to manage so many pieces of Gear, the original [Enhance XP] is naturally gone, replaced by [Advance XP].
When obtaining duplicate Gear, it will automatically increase the Gear's own [Advance XP], and when Advance XP is full, you can [Advance] the Gear, enhancing its base Attributes.
Refine and Reforge with Locked Attributes
Will use consumables [Refine Crystal] and [Reforge Crystal] for refining and reforge respectively.
Currently, during Reforge, it's impossible to retain already obtained Attributes, making it easy to lose desired Attributes in the next Reforge, thus we've added [Lock Coin], which can be used to lock or unlock desired Attributes obtained through Refine, ensuring locked Attributes do not disappear during Reforge!
